Juniors - Tang Soo Do

Ages 4-6

Our Juniors program for children aged 4-6 introduces young students to the exciting world of Martial Arts, fostering coordination, self-control, and age-appropriate self-defense skills in a supportive, empowering, and engaging environment.

Program Goals:

  • Improved Listening Skills

  • Coordination (Proprioception)

  • Self-Control

  • Improved Strength & Fitness

Curriculum:

  • Striking - Karate and Kickboxing Basics

  • Kata - Traditional Tang Soo Do Forms

  • Escapes - Defensive Strategies for Various Attacks

  • Kumite - Basic Footwork, Offense & Defense Striking Skills (non-contact)

Kids - Tang Soo Do

Ages 7-12

Our Kids program for children aged 7-12 introduces students to the exciting world of Martial Arts, fostering confidence, self-discipline, and age-appropriate self-defense skills in a supportive, empowering, and engaging environment.

The Kids Martial Arts program is divided into two levels: Beginner (White-Purple Belts) & Advanced (Green-Junior Black Belts)

Teens and Adults - Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Ages 13 and up

Our OGBJJ Grappling program for individuals aged 13 and up introduces students to the exciting world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, fostering many physical, social and mental benefits in a supportive, empowering, and engaging environment. AMA offers both Gi and No-Gi classes.

Curriculum:

  • Chokes & Joint Locks - Learn to Use the Entire Body to Safely Apply Effective Submissions to Your Opponent

  • Escapes - Learn to Escape Being Pinned to Achieve More Favorable Positions

  • Sweeps (Reversals) - Learn Techniques to Change from an Inferior to a Dominant Position

  • Takedowns - Learn Basic Freestyle Wrestling & Judo Takedowns

Teens and Adults - Impact Fitness

Ages 13 and up

Our Impact Fitness class for individuals 13 and up is a dynamic, full-body workout class designed to increase strength and mobility, boost your endurance, and improve your striking skills. You will be guided through a series of intense, fun, and varied exercises that will leave you feeling empowered and accomplished. Modifications and progressions are provided to ensure everyone can participate and thrive, regardless of their starting point. No uniforms. No Belts. No Sparring. Just a great workout!

  • Warm-up: Begin each class with a dynamic warm-up to increase your heart rate and prepare your muscles for action

  • Cardio Blast: Jumpstart your metabolism with high-intensity interval training sessions that include striking, plyometric exercises, footwork drills, and more

  • Strength Training: Build lean muscle and strength with a combination of bodyweight exercises, resistance bands, weighted fitness bags and striking

  • Core Conditioning: Strengthen your core with targeted exercises such as planks, crunches, and mountain climbers

  • Cool Down: Conclude with a thorough cool-down session to reduce heart rate, stretch out tired muscles, and enhance flexibility
